東北地方にある毛越寺の池からイメージした作品。毛越寺の雲形の池や洲浜、鑓水は多くの絵画的なイメージを与えてくれる。この作品では、磯を表現した岩島を色を使って表現を試みた。荒磯は様々な方向から見た形態を合成したイメージを表現している。

This work was inspired by the ponds of Motsu-ji Temple in the Tohoku region of Japan. Motsu-ji’s irregularly shaped pond, suhama stone , and yarimizu-stream provide many pictorial images. In this work, I attempted to use color to express the rock island, which represents the seashore.
